We take great pride in the cleanliness and quality of accommodation offered in the Royal Hotel, and are known and remembered fondly by regular visitors for ourinclusive quality, hearty, cooked English breakfasts.
Sea view rooms offer panoramic views of Whitley Bays blue flag beach and iconic St Marys Lighthouse.our rooms are en-suite and offer a flat-screen TV, free WIFI, teacoffee facilities allowing you to rest and refresh with ease.
Set on the seafront Promenade and few steps onto Whitley Bay beach, the Royal hotel could be any closer to the sandy beaches and popular promenade full of bustling restaurants and bars. Only a few yards from the famous Spanish City, Whitley Bay town centre, and a couple of miles from St Mary’s lighthouse, this is an excellent base to explore Tyneside, the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, and Northumberland.
